sweatshirt recycle- Kids Hat & Mitten tutorial

I hate to toss kids cloth 

Esp. if they are not soaked with pasta sauce

So, I have a fair amount of them

Which I swear to do something about 

Here is what I've done while waiting for my laptop to get fixed

Okay, one of the things I've done

Can you believe they are from V's six months old sweatshirt?

This is the before picture

It's super simple to make 

I made a quick tutorial if you are interested to follow along

I used a hat and mitten to trace the shape & cut them out

Flip them inside out and sew along the edge like this

Flip them over and you are done!

Of course, I had to add few buttons 

To make them more girly

You can add anything to make it a new piece
